5 Star Reviews
“The Things Our Fathers Saw” Jon Eric Preston's narration is superb. It's like listening to Grandpa talk about his life. “The People’s House” The narration was excellent…The characters are very three dimensional, everyone has a role. It even ended with a surprising twist on loyalties -- you really don't always know who is working for who. “The Flames” Oh and let me tell you about the narration. Jon Eric Preston is more than great! He is wicked! He is terrifying and terrific! “The Transmigrant” A five star rating does not reflect the enjoyment I got from this book and the content was enhanced by the narrator. "The Sparks" Preston did such an amazing job at expressing grief that I couldn't help but to cry. When your audio book is making you go from angry to crying like a child, you know the narrator has done their job successfully. “Come Fly With Me” A great read (listen), anywhere, anytime. “The Sparks” The narrator really makes the book for me and this performance was spectacular. Already have the next book, The Flames, on my ‘to listen’ list. “The Flames” Jon Eric Preston did a great job with this story. All his character voices are distinct and his female characters sound like ladies. He also did a great job with the range of emotions the characters go through in this novel. His voice for the Hyena was absolutely creepy (as it should be) and I also liked how he did the mechanical lisp for The Doctor. |
